The Houses of Horrors or Why you should have a Survey!

Welcome to our very own house of horrors - over the years we have come across some fairly horrendous defects in properties - some of which were relatively obvious and some of which had been shall we say creatively concealed...... The moral of the story is Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware! - Don’t forget that the nice man from the estate agents is not your friend - he’s a salesman, acting for the seller and he is trying to earn commission by selling you something, so he is going to try and gloss over or play down negative points about the property you are considering.....! By appointing an Independent Chartered Surveyor - you are simply protecting your interests - we act for YOU and we look out for your interests.

We couldn’t help but share a few of the horrors we’ve come across..... some of them are quite sobering....
